Transport: Take MTR to City One Stop / Return by taking minibus or bus at Shui Chuen O Estate

Feeling:  Not a long and difficult hike, impressed by the superb views along the trail.

**Points to note: Better accompanied by experienced hikers and with the help of map or hiking app. Please wear proper gear, hiking stick, gloves and stock up before you go. This trail with limited shades and with ups and downs, not suitable for inexperienced hikers.

Feeling: Highly accessible trail, with many retreat points. Enjoy the stunning views along the trail. I would say this is one of the best short hikes in Hong Kong Island.

感想:今天的路線,全是安全易走的郊遊徑,景觀十分好。黃泥涌峽徑是香港第一條軍事遺跡徑,軍事遺跡旁設有展板介紹相關歷史,並有昔日照片,製作用心,很值得一遊。
需時:約兩個半小時 / 5.25km

Feeling: Well-built trails with gorgeous views at Jardin’s Lookout. Wong Nai Chung Gap Trail is Hong Kong’s first battlefield trail, with 10 check points, each supplemented with photos and relevant history, worth a visit.

感想:這條路線可以走走赤柱古道看看大石橋,又可以走山路上孖崗山避開遊人及長樓梯,確實開心。走衛奕信徑下山,既安全,風景又好。
需時:約三小時 / 3.07km
**注意:走山路上孖崗山南峰要略為手腳並用,新手不宜。

Feeling: Enjoy visiting the old Stanley Road and masonry bridges, I am pretty happy to take a dirt path to the Twins and get an unobstructed view of Stanley along the Wilson Trail.

** Points to note: It’s a bit of a climb to The Twins, not suitable for inexperience hikers.

**注意:若需前往博加拉炮台,建議由熟路人士帶領,或預先下載路線,開啟行山App跟著走。請穿著合適,攜帶足夠裝備如手套、行山杖,以及食物和水。

Transport:  Take bus no. 9  at Shau Kei Wan bus terminal (near MTR Shau Kei Wan Station Exit A3) to and from Cape D’Aguilar stop

Feeling: The trail is paved all the way, easy access to photogenic spots like Thunder cave, Crab cave and the oldest lighthouse of Hong Kong. I would say this is one of the best hikes in Hong Kong Island.

感想:這條路線交通方便,在餓死雞山頂上有甚佳景觀,途經的海防測距站和防空洞,甚為特別。

**注意:這條路線沒樹蔭,不乏頗斜山路,需要體力。請穿著合適,攜帶足夠裝備如手套、行山杖,以及足夠食物和水。建議由熟路人士帶領或預先下載路線,並開啟App跟著走。新手及夏天不宜。餓死雞至海防測距站的山路甚陡峭,建議由大坑墩橫走至海防測距站,再上餓死雞,然後行水泥石級回大坑墩,這樣比較安全。

Feeling: Highly accessible and fun trail. Enjoy the beautiful scenery at Ngo Sei Kai and love to visit the old military site near Tai Hang Tun.

Distance and Average Hiking Time: 4.88km, around three hours

**Points to note: The path between Ngo Sei Kai and old military site is pretty rugged and steep, better going upward from old military site to Ngo Sei Kai. Please wear appropriate gears, bring along the hiking stick, gloves and stock up before you go. Without trail signage, better accompanied by experienced hikers or with the help of hiking app, not suitable for inexperienced hikers.
